You had a varied selection of music, including salsa, merengue and tango, which was the theme music for our party because my father hails from South America. You were friendly and courteous throughout the evening, taking requests from guests and finding the time to walk around making a film of the evening's events as well. You were not just a DJ playing tunes--You were a true Master of Ceremonies. You went out of your way to please our guest and made certain everything went smoothly as planned. At the same time you never took away from our night as I have seen many other DJs dancing and hopping around like singing monkeys! I thought it was sweet of you to offer to play Korean songs for my parents and their friends. You explained many American traditions during wedding receptions to me as well as finding creative ways to implement them into Korean traditions and customs. Both the American and Korean sides of the family raved about you! You did such a good job keeping the guests on the dance floor. People were telling us they were ready to get off the dance floor to take a breather, but couldn't because a song they loved came on. Remember, we said no Atomic Dawg, guess what? People asked "What happened to Atomic Dawg, he didn't play it." I thought you would find this funny. Hopefully, the next couple take your word for it, people love the "Atomic Dawg" Don Paul, you truly take pride in what you do. You keep up one of the nicest web sites I've seen. The whole way you handle your business is refreshing. You're right about the no frills and extra costs. You had everything we needed and more. Having hired other DJ’s before, and realizing firsthand how difficult it was to do business with most of them, we were very nervous about the entertainment at our wedding. Your website lured us to you because of all the valuable information you provided. You were more than willing to meet with us twice at your home to go over all the details. I found this gesture an excellent way to earn our trust. You opened your home willingly to two complete strangers to ensure us that we were dealing with a "real" human being who cares about making our wedding day special. You took great care in arranging our play list making sure that the music kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The music was so good that the bride and bridesmaids from the wedding in the next room came into our party to enjoy the music and dance. When a bride is willing to leave her own reception and go to a stranger’s party, you know the music has to be great! You played all of our special songs and we received nothing but compliments from our guests about how wonderful the music was and how beautiful the light displays were. Since you were there, you know how much our families love to party, and you conducted yourself very professionally, but you knew when it was time to have fun as well. Since you had spent so much time getting to know us, we considered you a friend rather than a "hired DJ". The video that you made was just wonderful, and a great idea. Since we were so busy talking to all of our guests, we missed a lot of the action on the dance floor. Your video made us feel like we didn't miss a thing. You got all of the memorable shots….the cake cutting, the bouquet toss, the garter throw, etc. We laughed for hours at our friends and family dancing the night away. Thank you again for a job extremely well done, and feel free to contact us in the future for a reference. By the way, you have our permission to use the "YMCA" dance that was videoed at the wedding on your webpage if you would like. You have to admit that was hilarious. Thanks Again! We had family and friends who could not attend because they live out of town. Since you sent us our video so quickly, we were able to make copies and send them with our thank you cards to our friends who could not attend. Our phone has not stopped ringing. Since they were not able to attend, they said the video was the next best thing. You played every song we wanted and didn't play any songs we did not want. Our instructions had been to keep the dance floor going and that is exactly what you did. We received several compliments on our reception saying it was one of the best if not the most fun wedding they have ever been to. We recently went to another wedding and while it was a nice reception, it did not have the excitement ours did. There weren't a lot of people dancing and the DJ didn't do anything really to get people out on the floor. That experience helped us realize even more how important a good DJ is for a wedding reception and how grateful we were to you for your service. It made the difference between just another wedding reception and one of the best ever. We also appreciated having the CD of music played at our wedding and the 2 hour videotape at no extra charge. They are both a wonderful keepsake from our special day. Finally, Ben's sister is now getting married this upcoming September and I think she says it best: We talked about the DJ last night and both agreed of all of the weddings we have gone to we felt that people danced more at your wedding than any other wedding, and the DJ kept the crowd out on the dance floor. Bob and I want to tell you what a great job Five Star Entertainment did for our wedding. We received so many compliments on our DJ. Everyone had so much fun. We still can't believe that the dance floor was always full! Family that we know never dance, were out on the dance floor just dancing away having a great time.
